Playing With Ratios: How to Enhance Your Edible Experience

Disclaimer: Always know your dosing limits for the best cannabis experience. When in doubt, start low and go slow.

The edible landscape is no longer comprised of just a wide array of flavors offered with sativa/hybrid/indica-leaning terpenes. Now there is an infinite number of choices that are created to provide a tailored user experience by adding minor cannabinoids such as CBD, CBG, or the leading sleep helper CBN.  Because of this, choosing edibles is more than what flavor sounds tasty; but has become about what experience is desired.

Why are Ratio edibles important?

Ratio edibles are the solution for customers looking for consistent, repeatable effects in their cannabis products. Top edible manufacturers, such as Wyld, have created tailored ratio products with precise dosing for customers that want the perfect amount of GBG, CBD, CBC, or CBN added in addition to THC to create repeatable and trusted experiences.

How to understand the Ratios on packaging?

These days, you might see a 1:1 or 2:1 call out on your edible packaging. These are your cannabinoid ratio identifiers. They help to convey which cannabinoids are present in the formula and how much in comparison to each other. A 1:1 THC:CBD means that there are equal amounts of THC and CBD in the package. A 2:1 THC:CBN means that each product has twice the amount of THC to CBN. The additional dosing guide on packaging will let you know how much of each cannabinoid is present in each gummy and/or in each container.

How to enhance the experience you want?

If you are looking to fine-tune your edible experience beyond what manufacturers offer, think about ways you can mix and match to create what you want.  Wyld, for instance, has a broad selection of ratio products that allow for many options.  If you want some extra CBD to enhance your CBN, grab a Wyld Strawberry pack, 20:1 CBD:THC, along with a Wyld Elderberry 2:1 THC:CBD, and dial in your dosing.  Add some focus to your routine through CBG and pick up a Wyld Pear pack, 1:1 THC:CBG, to go with Raspberry or Sour Apple.  It all comes down to dialing in your dosing for your desired experience.
